Review of the movie ‘Pink’

               Review of the movie ‘Pink’

 Director   Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury,
Producer   Rashmi Sharma Telefilms )                Sheel Kumar
                Shoojit Sircar.
 Starring  Amitabh Bachchan               Taapsee Pannu
               Kirti Kulhari               Angad Bedi

After watching this film a really feel that finally the mainstream film has this much bravery and courage to depicts the reality.  It is far away from the typical  Bollywoodish drama. And it is female oriented film and raise the voice for the rights of women and tries to break an Indian mind about the identity if modern girl. The court room drama is very well presented in the movie.          This movie is about three modern girl and their struggle to survive without male in male dominated society. Amitabh Bachhan plays a vital role in it. These three girl being abuse by boys in rock concert and in the defence the protagonist Minal Aroda hit a bottle  on the head of the boy Rajveer  who is belongs to the political family. So thats how the fight turn in to the fight between common girl and political leader.         This movie this movie is in a way huge step to break the definition of traditional ideal Indian women that a an unmarried women should be virgin. A good or ideal girl/women don’t go to the rock show late night etc etc     The very good or climax scene is when Amitabh Bcchan ask Minal  “Are you a virigin?” VIRIGINITY IS NOT A MESSUREMENT OF ONE’S CHARACTER. But from the feministic according to me this film can not pass the test, like they are three young modern girl but a man came to save them.
Music of the movie is good and worth mean, it goes with situations very well. ‘kari kari’ is very good song. There are no item song ‘ which proves that a good movie don’t want this type of masala to make movie hit.

The key line of the movie is......
NO means NO    Amitabh Bachchan asks the victim how you resist him and she answers i said NO. This NO has deep meaning. All over this movie talking about the condition of girl in India. It is appreciate by audience and critics as well.
