               Review of the movie:Akira

Director : AR Muruhadoss
Story by : Santha Kumar
Starring : sonakshi Sinha
                 Konkona sen sharma
                 Anurag Kashyap
Akira released on 2nd September 2016,is remake of Tamil filmis kind of bollywood film which can called "Hatke". From the feminist perspective this film get full marks from my side. The two female characters of the film Shonakshi Sinha and Konkana Sen Sharma both are strong.

This film shows the journey of a girl from 'Chota shaher' to 'Mayanagari Mumbai'. In Sanskrit Akira means graceful Strand. But is it big city had problems also become big. In her city she fights against the acid attack and in Mumbai she have to fight against whole system.
In the beginning of the movie directed very nicely shows that how a girl chooses karate instead of Katthak.
The other significant scene  is when Whole college is on strike she is the only one who is in class for study. The other scene is when Whole  college is on road  for the professor and police thakes  violent action against the students everybody runs here and there but she alone cysts on the road and file the case.

This both insidece shows her strong will power and determination. But from the realistic way its difficult. Because to fight against the system is not this much easy.
There are very good dialogue in the movie like:
"Ab bus..."
"Kya kre sir sidha chalo to bhot ghumna padata hain"

Konkona Sen Sharma's role is very good as a honest police officer. She is pragnant and work hard. This movie shows the corrupt police officers in very balanced way.
Overall this movie tries to includ recent situation of students raging, strick, situation of women in society, corruption and honestly as well.
